QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT SECTION #2

Hi T51&T54 people!

There are a number of good, very pertinent and detailed questions that have come up recently. I am still working through the (long) list, but here are the first 10. You'll notice that there are a couple of things that I have not given an answer to-because I have to go check!

Keep asking questions, this helps everyone!

Cheers,

Pam

Glad to hear that this is helpful (keep sending questions!)

By the way, I checked what the typical size of the linker is (in linker scannning mutagenesis). 12 bps seems to be the most common-it allows to 'scan' the region relatively quickly (i.e. more quickly than doing 1bp at the time) while also allowing for good accuracy in identifying critical regions.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
