Monday review session info

Hi everyone,

classroom booking has not gotten back to me (yet...but it's not like we have a whole lot of time now).
So, I have booked room 5458 in the bio building. It's a bit small, but it should work out. When you enter the bio building (where room 2449 is) go up 2 floors, then walk down the hall and it's the 6th door on your left.
As its number does not suggest, it is actually on the 4th floor.

I have added linker scanning mutagenesis, DNaseI hypersensitivity and Dr Beatty's problem set 3 to the menu.

Cheers

Pam

REVIEW SESSION (and a few other things)

Hello everybody,

as democracy wants it, the review session will take place on Monday, April 16th, from 11am to 1pm (room TBA).

I have posted a few more Q&As (scroll down a a few posts) as well as a quick summary on development.
I strongly encourage you to start reviewing now, so that you'll have enough time to figure out what you know and what you don't, and to ask about unclear points (please realize that i won't be in front of my computer 24/7, so if you leave everything to the last minute, I may not have a chance to answer before the exam!).

Have a good rest of the weekend!

Pam

END OF TERM ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) T51: because of easter Monday you won't have a "last tutorial". You are very welcome to attend another section next week.

2) We have to set up our pre-final review session; the options seem to be:
- April 23 (Mon)
- April 19 (Thu)
- April 16 (Mon)
Please start voting now (only one vote per person!), as I'll have to book a room by Friday afternoon.

3) I'll be posting some extra comments and Q&A on development later this week; and yes, we can definitely go over the yeast 2 hybrid system again! (I see that some of you have started reviewing-keep posting your questions, I am sure it helps others, too!)

4) Dr Haughn will post a set of practice questions on the biol335 website by Wednesday. Some are much longer and more complex that you'd ever get on an exam, so don't panic. If you can solve those, you're good to go!

Have a good week

Pam

PS: I love Wikipedia. Check out this link for some quick and simple notes-and nice diagrams- on the A-P axis formation in Drosophila! (For our 335 purposes, you can ignore Caudal)
